DAN’S VAN began in June 2023 in Hertfordshire, England. We are a family run business made up of father, son, mother and daughter. Dan (or Danijel) our front man, has 30+ years of experience in fine food and gastronomy on the Adriatic coast and in the UK. He cooks with love and passion, using fresh locally sourced and free range ingredients.
In simple terms, we are a pizza van available for all your pizza needs; repeat bookings, parties, events, festivals and more. Offering the well loved classic pizzas plus a few of our own signature twists, desserts and drinks. In addition, we also provide private catering of more than pizza that can be discussed and perfected in a free consultation, where we’ll work together to make you a custom menu, we cater to your needs and wishes.

Our dough
Our dough is all homemade using a slow 48 hour fermentation process, a recipe passed down from Dan’s mother which has been in the family for years. We use 00 fine high protein Italian flour, fresh yeast, local honey (not included in the vegan option) and of course the not so secret ingredient, LOVE - a lot of it. ;)
